Scotland is known globally as the Home of Golf, and The Lodge at Perth Racecourse is the perfect base from which to enjoy a game on some of the world's most renowned courses.
The world's oldest golf course is thought to be North Inch in Perth City, and this wonderful public course is a great way to start your golfing holiday in Perth.
From there, there are four excellent golf courses within a couple of miles, including Kings James on a river island, Murrayshall and Craigie Hill. The latter two offer fabulous club houses where you can enjoy a quick pint or a lunch after your game.
Less than an hour away in any direction, and you'll find yourself at some of the most internationally acclaimed courses including the unrivalled thrill of Gleneagles Golf Course, the wonderful Rosemount at Blairgowrie and every golfers dream, The Old Course at St Andrews.
Relaxed enjoyable stay - our third time there. Excellent location, great food, friendly helpful staff, very relaxed atmosphere and our dog was made to feel very much at home. Lots of walking space outside for walks. Just a couple of minutes drive from Perth.
